Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Secretary for the Cardiovascular ICU. This is a full-time night shift (7pm–7am), 36 hours per week, with benefits and a stable team environment.

In this on-shift role, you will support nurses by handling delegated patient-care tasks and managing routine non-patient unit duties to keep the CVICU operating smoothly. Prior Nursing Assistant experience is preferred and a high school diploma is desirable; BLS is required or provided on-site.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; training provided.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as on-shift team member under nurse direction, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
