Job summary

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, IMU, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional care for cardiac patients in a 3/4 weekend program. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team to implement and monitor plans of care, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, PA licensure, and ACLS. You will participate in ongoing education and meet unit competency requirements to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Qualifications

• BSN required; current RN license in PA
• ACLS certification within one year of hire or CCRN preferred
• Strong nursing assessment, documentation and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care per standards for cardiac testing and rehab.
• Perform comprehensive admission and shift assessments.
• Develop and revise care plans within 8 hours of ICU admission.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation.
• Administer medications safely per policy and formulary.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
