Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Clinical Team Leader to perform direct patient care as the charge nurse while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. You will lead departmental staff, plan unit staffing, and oversee daily operations on your shift, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

Requirements include a BSN, Texas RN license or compact, completed charge nurse training within 90 days if external, and active certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
• Completion of charge nurse training within 90 days of hire if external hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or a compact license.
• Clinical course certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) consistent with RN requirements.
• Advanced specialty certification or agreement to obtain within 2 years (CCRN, CEN, RNC, etc.)

• Provides front line leadership and decision-making for departmental staff, ensuring quality and integrity of care.
• Develops staffing plan based on patient acuity and oversees day-to-day operations on the shift.
• Monitors workflow and adjusts staffing to support unit fiscal goals.
• Coordinates and facilitates efficient patient flow, admissions, and timely discharges.
• Assists the manager in achieving department and organizational objectives including patient experience and quality measures.
• Participates in department initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Participates in peer interviews and provides feedback for evaluations as requested by manager.
• Assists with occurrence investigations.
• Other duties as assigned.
