Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle seeks an APP (ARNP or PA) for the Flex-Cardiac Critical Care Services (FC3). This 90% FTE role involves 12-hour shifts, primarily days with some nights, weekends and holidays, on-site care in the Cardiac ICU and related units.

You will admit, assess, and manage critically ill cardiac and medical patients, collaborate with ICU teams, and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• Active Washington ARNP license with prescriptive privileges and national ACNP-BC/AGACNP-BC certification preferred.
• Minimum experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline coverage for ICU patients and participate in daily rounds.
• Admit new patients, write admission notes, and develop initial plans of care.
• Work in collaboration with ICU team, residents, and fellows.
• Perform bedside procedures under supervision as needed.
• Engage in quality improvement, research, and scholarly activities.
• Attend educational conferences and participate in team meetings.
