Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a qualified APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Flex-Cardiac Critical Care Services (FC3) on a 90% FTE basis. The role includes day shifts with some nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves rotating between the Medical ICU and FC3 under attending supervision.

The position requires WA ARNP license with prescriptive privileges (ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC preferred) and national certification, with related critical care

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• WA State ARNP license with prescriptive privileges.
• ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC certification preferred.
• FNPs with 5+ years in critical care will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU patient care and admit/assess new patients.
• Rotate between Medical ICU and FC3 service.
• May be deployed to other ICUs as needed.
• Perform bedside procedures under supervision.
• Participate in rounds, family discussions, and care planning.
