Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking an EP Lab coordinator to support the Director of Cardiovascular Services in delivering patient care in the EP Lab. The role includes scheduling, onboarding, inventory coordination, and assisting in procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have ACLS/BCLS, ARRT-R or RCIS/RCES within 60 days, and at least 1 year of Cath Lab/EP experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in a Magnet-designated hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS required for clinical practice.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS/RCES certification must be obtained within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab/EP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient scheduling needs of the EP Lab under supervision.
• Assist with staff scheduling in the EP Lab under supervision.
• Coordinate EP Lab inventory and supply needs.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of EP Lab staff.
• Scrub and assist cardiologist during procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and document during procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services, the EP Lab coordinator facilitates and provides patient care in the EP Lab. Performs other functions in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

• 1. Assist with the patient scheduling needs of the EP Lab under the direction of the Director of Cardiovascular Services
• 2. Assist with staff scheduling in the EP Lab under the direction of the Director of Cardiovascular Services
• 3. Coordinate the inventory needs of the EP Lab under the direction of the Director of Cardiovascular Services
• 4. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding and training of staff in EP lab.
• 5. Scrubs and assists cardiologist during procedures as needed.
• 6. Monitors patient hemodynamics and performs documentation during procedure

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Occasional/ Intermittent Required
• Must have at least 1 years’ experience in Cath Lab/EP
