Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, seeks a Clinical Services Nurse- EP Lab to plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in line with orders and policies. You will collect and analyze patient data, develop care plans, and maintain effective patient relationships while supporting the atrial fibrillation team.

Responsibilities include post-procedure teaching, discharge planning coordination, and ensuring seamless care delivery across the team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) is required.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred; twelve months of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and educate patients and staff.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for follow-up tests or visits.
• Maintain patient records and update education materials as needed.
• Travel to support hospitals across the health system; participate in team conferences.
