Qualifications

• Experience with mouse models including breeding and genotyping.
• Ability to isolate adult mouse atrial/ventricular cardiomyocytes; Langendorff perf preferred.
• Strong publication record with at least one first-author paper.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Study mouse models of cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
• Isolate and characterize atrial and ventricular cardiomyocytes.
• Conduct cardiac electrophysiology experiments and ion channel studies.
• Investigate genetic variants and mechanisms of inherited arrhythmias.
• Contribute to development of therapeutic strategies for arrhythmia prevention.
