Job summary

The Central Virginia VA Health Care System (CVHCS) in Richmond, Virginia, is recruiting a Full-Time Physician in the Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Unit. The physician will evaluate and manage veterans with arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and syncope.

Responsibilities include performing invasive EP procedures, monitoring implanted devices remotely, and managing antiarrhythmic therapy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a VA-approved or equivalent school.
• Current full/unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Medicine/Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient/outpatient evaluation and management of veterans with arrhythmias.
• Perform invasive EP procedures including device implantation/ablation.
• Oversee remote device monitoring and antiarrhythmic medication management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain quality of care.
