Job summary

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex catheter ablation and device implantation.

Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree. Board certified/board eligible in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology is required.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
• Board certified/board eligible in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
• Expertise in complex catheter ablation and device implantation.
• Experience in teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
• Ability to develop an independent research program.

Responsibilities

• Teach CCEP fellows, cardiovascular fellows, residents and students on inpatient and outpatient services.
• Perform EP lab procedures and outpatient clinic duties on a regular basis.
• Engage in clinical mentorship of trainees and research fellows.
• Develop and sustain an independent research program with scholarly output.
