Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking an EKG Technician for full-time day shifts in Columbia, SC. You will perform 12-lead EKGs, treadmill stress tests, Holter and event monitoring, and device interrogation with accurate reporting to staff.

Minimum Education is a high school diploma; CPR certification is required or obtained soon after employment. Familiarity with medical terminology and EKG training are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 3 months.
• Completion of recognized EKG training program.
• Familiar with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs Adult and Pediatric EKGs and transmits results.
• Performs treadmill stress testing and Holter/event monitor setup.
• Interrogates devices and follows up with staff.
• Ensures EKGs are properly documented in medical records.
