Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Illinois is seeking a Cardiovascular Services Technician to coordinate all EKG services, perform EKGs, Holter exams, and 30-day monitors. You will prepare reports in MUSE and assist with pacemaker services, stress testing, and cardio-pulmonary rehab.

This full-time, on-site role requires a High School Diploma and BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire; compensation is based on experience with starting pay described in the posting.

Formación

• Experience with EKG lead placement and tracing.
• Sufficient knowledge of arrhythmias and reporting.
• Ability to train new technicians on arrhythmia detection.

Responsabilidades

• Assist rehab classes, take vitals, and hook up equipment.
• Explain testing procedures and risks to patients.
• Prepare patients and equipment, verify orders, obtain consent.
• Process EKGs from preliminary to edited and distribute to physicians.
• Identify serious arrhythmias and notify the Medical Director or PMD.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies and record high-quality EKGs.
• Scan Holter monitors promptly and generate reports for the team.
