Qualifications
GED or HS Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Health care experience preferred.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or the Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) certification required.
Responsibilities
Performs various echocardiographic procedures including echocardiograms.
Recognizes urgent clinical findings and informs physicians as needed.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary care team to facilitate service.
Ensures accuracy and integrity of documentation and test results.
Maintains and cleans all echocardiography equipment.
Coordinates workflow and scheduling for echocardiography services.
Promotes patient safety and service excellence.
