Job summary

Intermountain Health in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction. Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams including patient education and safety; perform ultrasound exams.
• Communicate patient needs and coordinate care with physicians and caregivers.
• Document results and apply charge codes; maintain equipment and supply stock.
• Mentor staff and students on equipment use and procedures.
• Support quality improvement efforts and participate in education opportunities.
