Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction. This role is ideal for recent echocardiography graduates or those with minimal experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered to support your transition into the organization.

Location is Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The position involves full-time hours (36 per week) with night/weekend/holiday call, contributing to patient care and clinical team support.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; degree verified.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and quality outcomes during exams.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Maintain equipment and work area, and manage supplies.
