Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification needed for Echo/vascular
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree verification”
• 1+ year experience preferred for some levels

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff and patients
• Prepare for exams; educate patients and families; transport patient
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Document exam results and apply correct charge codes
• Maintain and clean equipment and supplies; coordinate repairs
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education for caregivers and students
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique
