Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a skilled echocardiography professional to operate ultrasound equipment, obtain precise measurements of cardiac structures, and assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures in the Cardiology department. The role supports clerical and documentation tasks to ensure smooth department operation.

The candidate should have ARDMS/CCI credentials, BCLS, and experience in performing echocardiograms across ages; certification and hospital cardiology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of Echocardiogram programme certification preferred.
• EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ARDMS or CCI credential required.
• 8 Registered Echocardiographer preferred.
• 6 Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred.
• Able to perform stress testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow.
• Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
• Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilisation and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.
