Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Sonographer experience.
• Proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to assess cardiac function and structure.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain accurate history.
• Analyze images and document abnormalities or changes.
• Record data in EHR and prepare reports for physicians.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety and regulatory guidelines and educate patients as needed.
