Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a relevant field.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or RDCS certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms and Doppler studies per ASE standards.
• Assists with Adult Echo/Stress/TEE/Call Coverage; may include pediatric cases.
• Assesses signal quality and documents findings for physician review.
• Maintains patient records and ensures accurate charges.
• Educates patients and families about the procedure and pre/post care.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with team as needed.
