Job summary

AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer to provide diagnostic cardiovascular imaging at Joint Base Andrews. You will perform a full range of cardiac ultrasound procedures and support physicians with evaluations and timely reporting.

The role requires advanced technical skill, clinical judgment, and adherence to strict medical and safety standards in a military healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a cardiovascular technologist program accredited by CAAHEP (JRC-CVT).
• Education may include additional training via accredited medical assistant or military medical program.
• Active credential through ARDMS or CCI required.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiograms.
• Conduct specialized studies (contrast, bubble, arterial Dopplers, ABI, abdominal aortic duplex).
• Prepare patients, review history, acquire diagnostic images, and document findings.
