Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of ECG-Telemetry Technician experience, upon hire.
• Six months formal training in noninvasive ultrasound or Echocardiography Competency Based Orientation.
• Academic preparation and a structured echocardiography internship may be used in lieu.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire.
• Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform state-of-the-art echocardiography imaging and analysis.
• Apply independent judgment and advanced technical skills in diagnostic testing.
• Ensure infection control and universal precautions.
• Follow Code Blue procedures and patient safety measures.
