Job summary

HSHS is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join the cardiac imaging team at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL. This 20-hour-per-week, part-time role includes 10-hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm, with one weekend on-call per month and no weekday on-call.

Compensation aligns with experience and the pay range provided. Ideal candidates are patient-focused professionals with RDCS or RCS eligibility within 6 months, and an allied health degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• Certified or eligible in RDCS or RCS (ARDMS/CCI) within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Allied health degree or certificate program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography exams as part of the cardiac imaging team.
• Work 20 hours per week on a 2-day schedule, with on-call weekends.
• Support patient care with focus on accuracy and safety.

Pay Range:

$35.92 - $53.88 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Cardiac \"Echo\" Sonographer to join our cardiac imaging team.

Position Specifics:

• Department: Cardiac Sonography
• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: Part time, 20 hrs/wk, 2 days weekly 630am-5pm (10hr shifts) -on call one weekend a month Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm, no on call during the week, holiday rotation
• Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham

Education Qualifications

Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, an allied health program is required.

Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• OR must be eligible to sit for the RDCS or RCS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
