Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role

• Perform pacemaker and AICD interrogation and reprogramming in person, remotely, or via phone transmission.
• Conduct initial device analysis, generate preliminary reports, and alert physicians to urgent issues.
• Interrogate, interpret, and reprogram cardiac devices with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot critical device issues and take immediate resolution steps.
• Collaborate with physicians, document analysis in EMR, and educate patients on device management.
• Ensure accurate billing for device interrogation and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Assist in patient teaching and travel to regional clinics as needed.
• Maintain equipment, ensure safety, and participate in professional development.

Education

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

• Minimum five years of experience with cardiac pacemaker and AICD analysis and reprogramming, or certification from a recognized device training school.
• Experience with remote device transmission management.

Certification/License

• Current BLS certification preferred.
