Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Acute Care NP program.
• Current Acute Care NP certification.
• Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
• Previous NP/PA experience in a critical care setting, preferably CVICU.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS certified.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under supervision of attending physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in the EHR.
