Job summary
Rochester Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit team at Rochester General Hospital. You will care for critically ill cardiac patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity CTICU environment.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of cardiac nursing or ICU experience, holds a NY RN license and BLS certification. Shifts include nights with every other weekend and holiday, supporting a full-time 36-hour
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- RN license in New York State required.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process with physicians and team members.
- Develop and document individualized care plans and communicate status and progress.
- Proficient EHR documentation and communication.
- Adhere to department, system and regulatory requirements.
