Job summary

North Suffolk Cardiology seeks a skilled Cardiac CT Technologist to perform cardiac CT, coronary calcium scoring, and CCTA in a high-volume outpatient setting.

You will verify orders, administer contrast, monitor patient safety, optimize image quality, and collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff.

Required ARRT CT certification, BLS, and radiologic technology training; prior cardiac CT experience preferred; strong post-processing skills valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R) certification; CT certification ARRT(CT) required.
• BLS certification; state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac CT, coronary calcium scoring, and CCTA.
• Verify orders and patient identity; administer contrast per protocol.
• Maintain EMR/PACS documentation and participate in QA/ accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, and nursing staff on patient readiness.
