MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver skilled respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary needs. The role requires independent judgment, ventilator management, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures under limited supervision.

Qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved program, NBRC RRT registration, Washington State RCP license eligibility, ACLS/NRP/PALS, CPR, and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required.
• Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred.
• Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum education qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations.
• Provide ventilator management and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct clinical evaluation of care and establish therapy objectives.
• Review patient care based on age and needs; operate independently under limited supervision.
• Coordinate with patient care staff, management, and external providers.
