Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Specialist II to join the Arnett Hospital cath lab. The role includes teaching patients about research projects and procedures, assisting with procedures, and precepting new staff while ensuring high standards of patient care in all cath lab activities.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of cath lab experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and strong knowledge of equipment, scrubbing and circulating techniques.
This position is full time, days. The shift is 7:30am - 5pm, at Arnett Hospital. Teaches patients about research project and procedures, participates in special projects, serves as preceptor of new employees in cardiac cath, and circulates and scrubs for all types of cardiac catheterization procedures. Provides general patient care to cardiac catheterization patients, sets up and runs equipment, and performs basic cardiac catheterization procedures.
