Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Brownsville, Texas. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients while assisting with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Qualifications include a Texas RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS certifications. One year of critical care or Cath Lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing and licensed TX RN.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or the American Red Cross) are required.
• 1 year RN critical care and/or Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate, and record procedures.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Participate in on-call duty.
