BIOTRONIK CRC Inc. USA in Tustin, CA is seeking a Catheter Technician to produce and test cardiac ablation catheters in an ISO-certified cleanroom, using microscopes, calipers, soldering irons and precision meters.

You will read schematics and drawings, assemble catheter components, perform in-process testing, document results, and maintain high quality. Requires a high school diploma and about 5 years of related experience. On-site, full-time with second shift 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience.
• Working knowledge of catheter assembly techniques and required equipment.
• Intermediate skills on assembly, test, and troubleshooting catheter components.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively and communicate with staff at all levels.
• Knows catheter fabrication tools including microscope, measuring tools, soldering iron, digital multi-meter, and other small tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform cardiac ablation catheter production operations in an ISO-certified cleanroom.
• Assemble cardiac catheters using microscopes, small hand tools, soldering equipment, and other precision tools.
• Build and assemble ablation catheter subcomponents and critical parts including lead-to-connector terminal soldering and adhesive application.
• Integrate the pull wire with the electrode band and shaft.
• Operate test equipment (multimeters, Hipot testers, LCR meters) to verify electrical performance and insulation.
• Perform manufacturing operations including assembly, in-process testing, packaging and labeling; inspect subassemblies and finished devices for GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Document production activities in manufacturing lot history records.
• Adhere to line clearance, workstation, cleaning, PPE and safety standards; maintain cleanroom rules.
• Perform routine/preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with catheter operational processes and testing to meet design goals.
