Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Wexford, PA is seeking a Cardiac Cath Technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and team members to deliver safe, quality patient care.

Requirements include ARRT RT-R or RCIS certification within one year, ACLS within 6 months, and preferred Associate degree with 1 year Cath Lab experience. This on-site role carries compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS).
• Preferred Associate degree and 1 year in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Radiology.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire is required.
• CPR – American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures.
• Maintain expertise in radiographic imagery techniques related to invasive procedures.
• Operate lab equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Assist in monitoring procedural effects and respond to adverse reactions.
