Mercy is seeking a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures, supporting accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for heart conditions. You will apply sterile technique, operate with advanced imaging tech, and communicate clearly with patients and a multidisciplinary team.
This role requires graduation from an accredited imaging program or RCIS, 1 year experience, and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification with BLS.
The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours
or completion of RCIS training certification
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
