Job summary

St. Joseph's Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician responsible for the maintenance, functioning and operation of all medical equipment in the department.

You will work closely with a team of nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The role requires flexible hours to cover late or early cases and participation in an on‑call rotation during off hours, weekends and holidays for emergency cases.

Job description

Directly responsible for the maintenance, functioning and operation of all medical equipment in the department. He / she will be working closely with a team of nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The successful candidate will be required to work some flexible hours to cover occasionally some late or early cases as well as be a part of an on‑call rotation during off hours, weekends and holidays for emergency (e.g. STEMI) cases.
