Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Cardiac Cath Tech for a 16-week onsite contract in Charlotte, NC, starting 9/30/2026. Position requires a minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT-R or RCIS certification. The role includes day shifts (0730-1800) four 10-hour days per week, on-call and weekend rotations, with travel expectations as applicable.

Strong experience in peripheral angiography and EVAR/TEVAR is highly preferred. Onsite support with Epic and other hospital systems is required.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience required with peripheral angiogram/runs-off experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS certification required.
• Experience with EVAR/TEVAR and vascular cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Cath Lab for cardiac and vascular cases.
• Work with on-call and weekend rotation per schedule.
• Adhere to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Unit Information:

• Beds: 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms

Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip
• Vascular cases: Mostly lower extremity angiograms and EVAR and TEVAR cases

Required License, National Certification, Certs: Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS
Skills required:

• Cardiac Cath Tech:
  • Required: Cath Lab experience; MUST have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience. Prefer experience with endografts, EVARs, TEVARS, etc. If no experience with those, MUST be willing to be taught here. Please send for manager approval if missing this experience
  • Preferred: highly prefer experience in IR or in a lab working with vascular surgeons

Orientation (facility and unit):

• 1 week before on call
• 2 days departmental
• Ace modules
• EPIC test and modules

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: discussed during interview
• On call:
  • Vascular: two weekends every month and two weekdays of call.
    • Response time 1 hour
  • Cardiac: one call night every week and every 5th weekend
    • Response time 30 minutes
    • Cover both in interview; manager will go further into call and which one they ll cover in 2nd interview
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will do at least one holiday in a contract if applicable
• RTO: Manager approval
• Shift times: 0730-1800 (4 (10) hour shifts)
• Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
• Travelers cover each other s RTO, so could be extra call in events of RTO
