Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse to lead coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care. You will apply the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation—while delegating, supervising and documenting care for patients and families.

Effective communication with the health care team is essential. You will participate in resolving variances from patient goals and implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must have ICU/ED experience (minimum 1 year).
• Clinical knowledge to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• MUST have at least one-year of ICU/ED experience to be eligible.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
