Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a skilled cardiac catheterization imaging technologist to join our cath lab team in Texas. The role focuses on preparing patients for procedures, operating real-time imaging equipment, and assisting physicians during interventions such as angioplasty, stent placements, or pacemaker implantations.

You'll monitor patients’ vital signs, ensure safety, and help maintain imaging systems to meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating imaging equipment in a catheterization lab.
• Ability to explain procedures and prepare patients.
• Comfort working in high-pressure clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Operate imaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, or pacemaker implantation.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety throughout the procedure.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
