Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Cath Lab Support Specialist to assist cardiologists during catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures. You will operate angiographic and hemodynamic equipment, monitor patient status, and assist with sterile setup and post-procedure care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requires a Bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology or Radiologic Technology and one year of related experience; RCIS preferred. BLS/ACLS must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Exercise Physiology or Radiologic Technology.
• RCIS preferred; BLS and ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
• One year radiology, exercise physiology, or cardiology experience; cath lab or procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot angiographic and hemodynamic equipment.
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and catheterization recovery.
• Maintain supplies, prepare sterile trays, and support billing records.
