Job summary
Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Radiology/Cardiovascular tech to support cardiac cath lab procedures. You will set up, operate, and monitor specialized equipment and assist physicians during catheter-based and device implant procedures.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular program (or 4+ years cath lab experience), ND license/certification within 24 months, and current BCLS and ACLS certification. FTE, day shift, weekends and holidays required.
Qualifications
- Must be graduate of Radiology Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program; or 4+ years cath lab experience.
- Licensure as RT(R) or RCIS within 18–24 months of hire/transfer.
- BCLS certification current; ACLS certification current or within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor specialized equipment for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Assist cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and device implant procedures.
