Qualifications

• Two-year radiologic technology training with ARRT registration or CVIS/advanced degree.
• Valid Iowa Radiology technologist permit to practice.
• Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS preferred/required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients of diverse ages.
• Ensure quality of imaging and image acquisition, DSA, and hemodynamic monitoring as well as radiation safety practices used for patients and personnel.
• Be proficient with aseptic technique and assist physician with scrubbing during procedure.
• Transport patients to and from the cath lab.
• Assist with physiologic monitoring/data devices in the cath lab and document procedural data.

Education

Two-year radiologic technology training with ARRT registration or CVIS/advanced degree
