Job summary

Temple Health seeks a Cardiac Cath Technologist for the Jeanes Campus to perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, monitor patient transfers and stock inventory. The 40-hour day shift runs 7am–5:30pm across 4-10 hour shifts.

You will operate advanced radiologic equipment, record and interpret hemodynamic waveforms and ECG tracings, and assist in quality control and patient safety within the cath lab.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Studies required.
• Cardiovascular technology program or equivalent required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists with direct patient care; performs sheath removal; interprets hemodynamic waveforms and tracings.
• Monitors and stocks inventory; assists with patient transfer.
• Operates radiologic equipment including cineangiography, fluorography, and digital image recording.
• Assists physician in diagnostic and interventional, cardiac and peripheral catheterizations; supports quality control programs.
