Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS), Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), RCIS, or RT with hands-on Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience. You will scrub and monitor invasive cardiovascular procedures in Bayonne, NJ.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment and patients, assisting with PCI/STEMI and other interventional cases, monitoring hemodynamics, and ensuring patient safety. Required RT/CVT/CVIS/RCIS, BLS/ACLS, and IABP experience; RCIS preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab and ability to scrub and monitor procedures.
• Current RT/CVT/CVIS/RCIS certification and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
• IABP experience is required and knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and select IR procedures.
• Monitor and document hemodynamic data accurately; provide procedural support before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and communicate findings to the physician.
• Adhere to cath lab call coverage and emergency protocols; educate patients pre-procedure.

Candidates must be proficient in both scrubbing and monitoring during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI cases, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker procedures, and select interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately
• Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and promptly communicate findings to the physician
• Adhere to all Cath Lab call coverage and emergency response protocols
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort

Required Qualifications

• Current experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Ability to independently scrub and monitor procedures
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT), CVT, CVIS, or RCIS certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
• Experience with STEMI and PCI procedures
• Peripheral vascular and electrophysiology/pacemaker procedure experience

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
