Qualifications

• No specific educational requirements for this occupation.
• Licensure or Certification is not required, but is strongly desirable at GS-8 or above.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications are desirable for employees at this level.
• Registration by CCI as RCIS is highly desirable.
• English language proficiency is required for the occupation.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor complex cath lab procedures.
• Assist with training and mentoring technicians, nurses, and students.
• Coordinate communication with vendors and schedule visits; ensure medications are properly labeled.
• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Support quality control and performance improvement activities in the cath lab.
