Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting.
• Associate degree required.
• Licenses: CVT/CRT/RN and BCLS; ACLS preferred; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cath Lab for procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
• Assist physicians during procedures using fluoroscopy, IVUS, and monitoring systems.
• Monitor vital signs, document data, and report abnormalities promptly.
• Assist in patient positioning, comfort, and consent.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Support administration of contrast media and medications as directed.
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Provide post-procedural care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
