This is a PRN (per diem) position requiring about two shifts per month.
This position supports the Cardiologist in performing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, Swan‑Ganz catheterization, pacemaker procedures, transesophageal echocardiography with cardioversion (TEE/CV), intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP) support, percutaneous coronary interventions, and other minor procedures requiring the administration of moderate sedation. The role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining specialized equipment used within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
The position provides direct patient care using established radiological, cardiovascular, and technical knowledge, in accordance with Delaware licensure or certification requirements. Care is delivered across the full spectrum of patient populations, requiring the clinical skills, judgment, and adaptability necessary to ensure safe, high‑quality patient outcomes in a dynamic procedural environment.
