Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational requirements listed: High School Diploma/GED, Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, Other.
• Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: RTR, RCVT, RCVIT, RRT, CCPT, CVT, RCIS, RCES, or PMD Licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Minimum of one year Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, or Invasive Vascular Lab Experience

• Assumes responsibility and accountability under the direction of a cardiologist, electrophysiologist, or radiologist for safe, competent care in diagnosis, treatment, and intervention of cardiac and vascular disease.

Responsibilities

The technologist assumes the responsibility and accountability, under the direction of a cardiologist, or electro physiologist, or radiologist for providing safe and competent care, both technically and clinically in the diagnosis, treatment and intervention of cardiac and vascular disease in accordance with Manatee Health policies, procedures and philosophy. The technologist also provides professional leadership and support to all healthcare team members.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
