Qualifications

• Must be a certified Radiology Technologist with ACLS/BLS/X-Ray certifications.
• 2 years of experience preferred in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab under supervision.
• Ensure timely performance of studies and respond to STEMI calls.

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Position: Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (912046)

Position Information:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable to perform studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift 4x10's - 0700-1730

On Call: 10 Days of Call per Month, 30 Minute response time to hospital for STEMI call

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be a Radiology Technologist
2. ACLS/BLS/X-Ray Certification
3. Experience: 2 Years Preferred
4. Experience: circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with STEMI, high risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari)

Patient Ratio: 3:1

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
