Job summary

Hannibal Regional is hiring a registered nurse to oversee nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Radiology departments. This role emphasizes independent practice under physician and manager supervision, with a focus on standards of care and education.

The successful candidate will hold an approved nursing degree, Missouri RN license, BLS and ACLS, and sedation certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license or registry eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• HRHS Certification for Moderate Sedation required within 6 months of hire.
• Proficient in IV initiation and assessment.
• Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards.
• Able to lift and position patients and equipment.
• Position requires frequent walking; standing and sitting for long periods; good hearing and vision.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and initiate interventions for patients in the Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Radiology Departments.
• Maintain standards of nursing care and practice in the Nursing Department.
• Coordinate and conduct educational programs for team members, patients, EMS and community groups.
• Conduct QA studies, contribute to data gathering/entry and attend department meetings.
