Job summary

Wheeling Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to provide expert nursing care within the cath lab setting. The role focuses on applying the nursing process, patient assessment, and collaborative care for cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state where services are provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Keen ability to implement the nursing process for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Assess patient data and develop individualized plans of care.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based nursing practices.
• Educate patients and families, including discharge planning and teaching.
• Document care accurately and maintain handoff communications.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to support complex cases in the cath lab.
