Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a cardiac catheterization lab. You will assess and care for patients across the peri-procedural spectrum and support physicians during procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include Florida RN licensure (compact accepted), a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), BLS and ACLS within 6 months, and 1–3 years of Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Nurse license required or appropriate compact licensure with FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• 1–3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
