Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage seeks a registered nurse to deliver and supervise safe, quality care aligned with the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and coordinate with the health care team.

You will include families in the plan of care, and may direct and manage care by colleagues. Requires Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska RN License upon hire.
• BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS – American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise safe, quality care following the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in assigned populations.
• Coordinate and communicate the patient’s plan of care with the health care team.
• Include families in the plan of care; direct and manage care by subordinates.
